Welcome Back from Leave -Raw

My first drawing not of people and also the first one where I intended to express a feeling and scene from my personal life. I am not entirely satisfied with this.

I intended to draw an action picture, and the most active thing I can think of is an explosion. I am happy with the explosion, but drawing landscapes in sufficient detail turned out to be a project all of its own. I can see how an automated process could really free me up to focus on the action by assisting with a landscape and tedious perspective work such as the pipe railing here. My explosion drawing was assisted greatly by carefully studying an excellent one done by rift3r here on DA.
